United HomeCare's Anna Vanderbiest, LCSW, Receives 2015 Outstanding Professional Caregiver Award from the Home Care Association of Florida

Award honors individuals for excellence in performance and contributions to home care

United HomeCare® (UHC), South Florida’s leading non-profit home and community-based care organization, today announced that one of its social workers, Anna Vanderbiest, LCSW, is the recipient of the Home Care Association of Florida’s (HCAF) 2015 Outstanding Professional Caregiver Award.

Part of UHC’s Counseling Department, Vanderbiest is a licensed clinical social worker, certified chronic care professional and motivational interviewer trainer. She was honored for her exceptional service and unwavering dedication to the needs of home care clients. The award was presented at the Home Care Association of Florida’s 26th Annual Conference and Trade Show in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., on July 29, 2015.

“Anna has been an outstanding member of the United HomeCare team for eight years and thoroughly deserves this recognition for her work serving frail seniors and disabled adults in our community,” said Carlos Martinez, president and CEO of United HomeCare. “Anna excels in her sensitivity to client needs and advocating for the community resources to enhance their quality of life.
