United HomeCare's Guadalupe Rodriguez Addresses Caregiver Issues on WLRN's Popular Topical Currents Radio Program
July 8, 2015Guadalupe Rodriguez, UHC’s Counseling Program Manager and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, was a featured guest on WLRN’s popular Topical Currents radio program hosted by Joseph Cooper and Bonnie Berman. Guadalupe spoke with authority about the critical issues facing caregivers as they deal with aging parents and loved ones. She also mentioned the soon to be launched Caregivers United initiative designed to help employers (and employees) address the stress and loss of work productivity that often accompanies caring for elderly individuals. Joining Guadalupe on the panel were Gary Barg, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Today’s Caregiver magazine ( www.caregiver.com ) as well as activist and MacArthur Foundation Fellowship recipient Ai-jen Poo who recently wrote The Age of Dignity: Preparing for the Elder Boom in a Changing America.
