Telehealth has kept me balanced and has saved us from many unnecessary ER/hospitalization visits. It's not just a machine, it is the ability to speak with a nurse, which is my life line.

United HomeCare® was proud to participate in Miami-Dade County's 2026 Disability Resource Fair
United HomeCare® was proud to participate in Miami-Dade County’s 2026 Disability Resource Fair on Saturday, August 29, at the Miami-Dade Youth Fair & Expo Center. Bringing together more than 175 organizations, the Fair connected individuals with disabilities, families and caregivers with valuable resources ranging from employment and training to transportation, assistive technology, recreation, advocacy and supportive services. At United HomeCare, we believe that living with a disability should never mean giving up independence, dignity or the comfort of home. Our team was pleased to share information about the services and support available to adults with disabilities who need assistance with daily living and personal care—helping them remain safer, more independent and connected to the communities they call home. Thank you to the Miami-Dade County People and Internal Operations Department’s ADA Office and Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces for bringing our community together and creating greater awareness of the many resources available to people of all abilities. -
