Manuel CornideDirector

Manuel Cornide is a retired banking executive with sixty years of experience in the industry. He joined United HomeCare in 2006 as an Advisor to the President under then President and Chief Executive Officer, Jose R. Fox. In this role, Cornide was instrumental in the organization’s success, providing counsel and overseeing various operations, including human resources, at the C-level.
Cornide’s leadership experience includes management, credit, sales, business development, and human resources, drawing from a diverse background that spans both the banking and non-profit sectors during his time at United HomeCare until his retirement.
Before joining UHC, Cornide served as a senior vice president, branch administrator, executive officer, and head of private banking at Ocean Bank. Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to the community, serving as a member on the boards and committees of several organizations, including the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Bankers Advisory Board, United Way, Boy Scouts of America, Robert Morris Association, March of Dimes, Interamerican Businessmen’s Association, and the Cuban-American Bankers Association.
Cornide graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Banking and has also attended the University of Havana, Miami-Dade Community College, and the American Institute of Banking.
