Jose R. Fox
President and CEO
Jose R. Fox, a visionary and true humanitarian, has been in the forefront of social services, health care, and in-home services for over thirty years. His experience began in Honduras, Central America, in the late 1960s, where he was the Director for the Human Development Association. Mr. Fox was Vice President for Strategic Planning for the United Way of Miami-Dade County; Director of the Area Agency on Aging of Dade County (District 11); and Deputy Director of the Dade County Community Relations Board, prior to joining United HomeCare Services in 1989.
Mr. Fox has been responsible for instituting a diversification strategy to ensure that clients receive a broad spectrum of programs and services, and continuity of care. His desire to create a strong organization has led to several initiatives, including the Medicaid and Certified Medicare Home Health Agency licensure, attainment of national accreditation, introduction of a Caregiver Assistance Program, the “Solutions” Long Term Care Diversion program, and most recently the Telehealth Program.
Mr. Fox’s passion and focus has continuously been to help those that cannot help themselves. As a board member of the Associated Home Health Industries of Florida (AHHIF) and the Community Care for the Elderly Coalition representing Miami-Dade County District 11, member of Florida Council on Aging (FCOA), and Florida Advocates for Community Care for Disabled Adults, Mr. Fox has worked tirelessly to improve policy in support of the elderly and disabled in our community. He is a recipient of the “Msgr. Bryan Walsh Outstanding Human Services Professional Award” from the United Way of Miami-Dade and the “Outstanding Service Award” from the Florida Hispanic Coalition on Aging. In 2006, the Health Foundation of South Florida honored Mr. Fox as a “Concern Awards” finalist.
Roberta “Bobbie” D'Angola
Vice President
Ms. D’Angola’s extensive healthcare industry career began in the 1980’s. Prior to joining United HomeCare Services, Ms. D’Angola served as Administrator for several homecare organizations, including Professional Care, Immediate Health Care, PPI Nursing Network, Visiting Homemaker Service, and Associated Nursing.
In her twenty-plus years in the health care industry, Ms. D’Angola has been responsible for agency management, marketing, public relations, sales, financial planning, and administration of State and Federal funded programs. Ms. D’Angola’s extensive knowledge of the healthcare field, dedication, and management skills has greatly contributed to the agency's growth, diversification, and quality of care. Ms. D’Angola joined United HomeCare Services in 1994 and was instrumental in developing the agency’s Medicare division, from inception to certification. She currently heads the certified home health agency and Medicare division, and is responsible for licensure, certification, and accreditation of the home health agency.
As a member of Associated Home Health Industries of Florida, she served as district director, secretary, and vice-president, as well as on several committees. She is also active with the South Florida Discharge Planners, Florida Health Care Association, Broward County Guardianship Association, South Florida Case Management Network, and Miami-Dade Aging Network.
Ms. D’Angola received Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Paterson State University, in Paterson, New Jersey. She also attended Broward Community College, where she focused her studies on Management Theory and Practice.
Manuel Cornide
Human Resources Director
As head of Human Resources, Mr. Cornide manages the planning, direction, and implementation of personnel programs and policies, and participates in the overall executive management of the company.
Mr. Cornide has extensive background and experience in the banking industry, encompassing responsibilities in management, credit, sales, business development, and human resources. His recent employment history includes senior vice president, branch administrator, executive officer, and head of private banking for Ocean Bank.
He is currently a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and has participated in several organizations including Bankers Advising Board, United Way, Boy Scouts of America, Robert Morris Association, March of Dimes, Interamerican Businessmen’s Association, and the Cuban-American Bankers Association.
Mr. Cornide graduated from Louisiana State University School of Banking and attended the University of Havana, Miami-Dade Community College, and the American Institute of Banking.
